Each year, in conjunction with the SNIS Annual Meeting, the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery honors one esteemed individual for their distinguished work, landmark accomplishments and innovative wisdom in the medical field by inviting them to give the Luminary Lecture. In 2020, to honor the first luminary lecturer, the award was renamed the Grant Hieshima Luminary Lecture. The following individuals have been honored with this distinction.
